You will join our team on 15 July 2026 on a permanent part-time or full-time basis (80 - 100 %).

What you can expect

The Department of Neurology and Epileptology consists of three wards, two epileptological and one neurological ward. The two epileptological wards focus on the diagnosis and treatment of all seizure syndromes in people with and without intellectual development disorders. Treatment places are available for the differential diagnosis and treatment of epileptic and non-epileptic seizures.

Your tasks

  • Neuropsychological diagnostics for people with epilepsy
  • Psychotherapeutic support and psychoeducation for people with epilepsy and co-morbid mental or cognitive illnesses to help them cope well with their chronic illness
  • Psychodiagnostic discussions and psychoeducation with people with additional or exclusive dissociative seizures, initiation of further psychotherapy
  • They regularly offer psychoeducational group programmes

Your profile

  • Completed psychology degree (diploma or master's degree) specialising in clinical psychology, ideally advanced or completed further training in a psychotherapeutic method
  • Sound neuropsychological knowledge desirable, preferably with GNP certificate
  • Empathy and enjoyment in dealing with people with severe epilepsy and sometimes serious co-morbidities (e.g. trauma, intellectual disability)
  • You enjoy working in a multi-professional team and are characterised by an independent and structured way of working
  • You are interested in further professional training
