Further training in our clinic
For doctors
The Department of Neurology and Epileptology is currently authorised to provide 30 months of further training in neurology. The clinic is also a recognised EEG training laboratory of the German Society for Clinical Neurophysiology and a recognised epilepsy centre with the possibility of acquiring the epileptology certificate.
For carers
Nursing staff in neurology and epileptology work in a specialised medical environment. Their day-to-day work is characterised by complex clinical pictures, rapidly changing patient conditions and a high degree of interdisciplinary cooperation. Nursing care in these specialised fields requires not only sound specialist knowledge, but also excellent powers of observation, flexibility and empathy.
Vocational colleges for nursing are located in Weissenau and Bad Schussenried/Zwiefalten.
For MTAF
Our team carries out the following examinations as part of functional diagnostics: Routine/long-term EEG and (pre-surgical) video EEG monitoring including preliminary findings, neurophysiological examinations, ECG, mobile EEG recordings at external facilities
In order to ensure that all employees are up to date with the latest specialist standards, regular internal training opportunities are organised in which, among other things, the assessment of epileptic and non-epileptic seizure events, seizure descriptions, new terminology, etc. are discussed.
In close cooperation with the Academy for Health Professions, our clinic also offers a dual study programme in Medical Technology B.Sc. as well as the opportunity to participate in medical studies.
